Domestic Violence
Victims of domestic abuse come from all walks of life, races, educational background and income levels.
Domestic abuse is defined violence from husband, ex-husband, wife, ex-wife,
boyfriend or girlfriend. Domestic violence can mean physical abuse such
as: pushing, hitting, slapping, choking. 
- Emotional Abuse- Names calling, mindgames, putdowns
- Threats - include physical or emotional harm, to take the children
- Intimidation - using looks, smashing things, loud voice or actions to put you in thought of what might happen.
- Isolation - controlling where you go, what you do, who you see, driving away your family and friends
- Sexual - Forcing you to do acts against your will; physically attacking your body.
- Economic - controlling how money is spent, taking your paycheck, refusing to give you money for your needs.
- Using the children - making you feel guilty about the children, using custody and visitation to harass you.
- Using the male privildege - Rigid views of roles and duties of men and women. Expecting certain things "because I am the man."
