Eating Disorder Statistics
Eating Disorders like anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating are becoming increasingly prevalent. In the United States as many as 10 million females and 1 million males suffer from eating disorders.
Because of the secretiveness and shame assoicated with eating disorders, many cases go unreported. An estimated 10 of femaile college students from a clinical or sub-clinical eating disorder, over half suffer from bulimia.
